Introduction
A wedding is about vows of love and spending a lifetime together, the happiness on everyone’s face, uniting families, and having all the special people in your life besides you to wish just the best for you. It is a day with many memories in the making that you will never want to forget. Let’s dive right into Nishant and Sumati’s story.
Their Tale
They first met in February of 2012 when Sumati had moved to Mumbai to pursue a college internship at Architect Hafeez Contractor. In an office with over 650 employees, destiny clicked, and they both were assigned the same project to work on, and that’s how the story began.
The Proposal
While on a trip to Neemrana Fort Palace, Jaipur, Nishant went down on his knees and popped the question along with a beautiful ring. That memory held such a special place in their hearts that they also tied their knot in the same place.
Decor
Since Nishant is from Jaipur and Sumati is from Kashmir, they decided to keep the theme of their wedding decor to be a blend of both states.
The colours and culture of Rajasthan inspired the decor for various pre-wedding functions. For the wedding, they went with colours like peach and pink, which resembles the lotus flowers found in the lakes of Kashmir.
All of this was bought to life and executed perfectly by Shikha and Vishal Ghai from AV Star Entertainment.
Wedding Hashtag
Their wedding hashtag was ‘Gupttoo‘ which was derived from their surnames, Gupta and Mattoo. Adorable isn’t it?
Bridal Shopping
Most brides swear by the variety of outfits found Delhi. Well, most of Sumati’s outfits, including her bridal ensemble, was from Kamal Bhai Saree Sangam, Chandni Chowk.
Bridal Outfit
Nishant and Sumati’s ensembles complimented each other and their outfits were also very well-coordinated. Pastel coloured outfits seem to be the top pick among many couples these days as they look subtle, yet classy.
Right from the guests to the groom, everyone impatiently waits to get a glimpse of the bride dressed in her bridal glory. Sumati kept it traditional and surreal and walked down the aisle on ‘Din Shagna Da’.
How did they come across The Wed Cafe, and decided to onboard our services for their big day? A little testimonial
These are a few things said by the couple.
“We came across The Wed Cafe online. Their portfolio looked super, and they had the experience of covering another wedding at the same venue, and so we knew they were right for us as well. Superb team. They went above and beyond to make our experience more memorable”.
Tips for Brides-to-be Straight From The Bride
Sumati strongly believes that the happiest brides are the prettiest. With that, just get your three ‘L’s’ sorted.
